Our (temporary) home

Can you believe that I've agreed to share an apartment with Alan? It's a 2-bedroom (Jeff gets the couch), located in South Loop, in downtown Chicago... should be interesting... I think I'll be doing the cooking, Alan will be cleaning, and Jeff will be the entertainment.

I call top bunk!!!!

Wait, I thought we were drawing straws to see who enjoys the couch!

Regardless, I'm already working to improve our Chicago home away from home experience with http://www.managemyhome.com/index_new.asp

While you are there, I know you'll be working but you have to eat. Here are a few not to miss places in your new (temporary) hood.

Dinner and Drinks
> Custom House (GREAT bar, amazing food)
> Gioco (Southern Italian)
> Oysy (sushi)
> Hackneys (American)

Brunch/Lunch
> Yolk
> Orange
> Bongo Room
> Lou Mitchells

And for when you miss NY:
> Eleven City Diner

Locations can be found at Metromix.com http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/dining/search-venues.front?page=2&attributeType=mmx-cuisine&name=®Comm=C%3Ammx-near-south-side

Your closest grocery is Dominicks at 1N Halsted (at Madison).

Happy eating gentlemen!
